Awareness, humility, and decolonizing our perspective
We work with each community in an ethical spirit, prioritising sincere and respectful exchanges. Aware of our own positioning and of colonial histories, we are driven by a constant desire to learn from our indigenous partners with humility.
Respect for cultural traditions
We place respect for and sensitivity to the cultural specificities and traditions of each community at the heart of our approach.
Free, prior and informed consent
The development of our projects follows the principle of free, prior, and informed consent for all collaborations. Our indigenous partners are free to accept our proposals after receiving all essential information needed to fully understand the matters at stake.
Reciprocity
We act from a perspective of reciprocity, ensuring that the outcomes of our work are shared with the communities concerned in a fair and transparent manner.
Co-creation
We collaborate with indigenous communities as equal partners, deeply valuing indigenous perspectives and traditions in the development of our initiatives. We respect the autonomy, choices, and rhythms unique to each community.
